              She seemed to try to cover her a**. She gave him a hard time about the phone then found out it was his mom, then said it was how he reacted after that got him suspended.

                  I am a little torn on this one since cell phones "in class" has been an issue here lately.

                  I totally sympathize with the kid and his mom serving our country but the other issue at hand is the cell phone should not have been on in the class room. If one can do it, all kids can do it. Lines must be drawn somewhere.

                  The mother is obviously limited to her times that she can call and it is probably difficult for her to call when the child was not in school.

                  This is a tough one.

                  So flame away at me.
