My old man gave me the best advice. It was after my first wife betrayed our love, but it goes for anything.


GET OVER IT!

"Look, Son." he said "In the end, you will figure out what it is you need to do, you will do it, you will take care of what needs taking care of, and you will get over it. It may take you 5 years, 1 year, 5 months, 1 month, 1 week, 1 day, or 1 hour. In the end , believe me, you will get over it. So why not figure it all out, do what you need to do, and get over it sooner rather than later?" He smiled at me, then got a bit stern looking, and said " Now, damnit! Get Over It!"
