  • ECW One Night Stand?

Is anybody going to order it. I am even though I don't really watch wrestling anymore. But ECW is my favorite so i've got to get it. But I don't like the whole WWE invasion thing that is planned. Oh well the card looks sweet.

    ONE NIGHT STAND MATCHES

    Masato Tanaka vs Mike Awesome

Lance Storm with Dawn Marie vs Chris Jericho

    Extreme luchador action:
    Rey Mysterio vs Psychosis

    A three way dance:
The insane luchador Super Crazy vs Tajiri with Sinister Minister vs Little Guido

    Eddie Guerrero vs Chris Benoit

Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman vs Bubba & D-Von Dudley

ECW One Night Stand will feature special appearances by:
    Paul Heyman
The return to PPV of Rob Van Dam with Bill Alfonso
    Tazz
    Spike Dudley
    Al Snow with Head
    Sabu
    Balls Mahoney
    Danny Doring and Roadkill
    CW Anderson
    Rhyno
    Joel Gertner
    Axl Rotten
    Justin Credible
    Kid Kash
    Mikey Whipwreck with Sinister Minister
The BWO - Big Stevie Cool, Hollywood Nova, and The Blue Guy

ECW was without a shadow of a doubt the 2nd company. I dont think this invasion thing will be a big factor. it'll be done and dusted quickly i think. We get it free here so i will be watching. Should be very interesting to see how things go. Just getting to see Gertner with a live mic is going to be awesome

And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. With your mind power, your determination, your instinct, and the experience as well, you can fly very high."

This PPV was outstanding. Nothing that the WWE has put out in the last few years could compare to this ECW show. I really hope they decide to do shows full time now.

Match of the night has to be Mike Awesome/Tanaka. And the promo's that Paul Heyman and Rob Van Dam cut were hilarious and from the heart. Matt F'n Hardy!!! LMAO!!

All i got to say is:

        E-C-W
        E-C-W
        E-C-W
        E-C-W

I gotta agree with you. I was kinda sad though, seeing most of those guys for the last time. If Vince was smart he'd give Heyman the money and the power to run a ECW brand that has nothing to do with the rest of the WWE.

          ECW,ECW,ECW,ECW,ECW,ECW,ECW,ECW,ECW,ECW,ECW,ECW,EC W,ECW,ECW!

I wish they would give Heyman the ball and run with it too, but it's all about politics. I don't think Vince would like it to much if a brand that wasn't created by him did better then his RAW and Smackdown shows. But yeah, if he was smart and let ECW run on it's own it would mean a lot of $$$$.

              Line of the night.

"I want you to know, I'm not crying, my eyes are red because I was in the back smoking a joint with Van Dam!"

              Paul E. Heyman

                Another great line.

"The only reason why you were champion for a year was because HHH didn't want to work Tuesdays."

Paul E. Heyman saying it to JBL

Guys the reason ECW will not be a full time thing is money, nothing else. ECW will never make money for long, they might have profits for a couple of weeks with the wwe fans who are new ecw fans but it will wear off after a while, it did so last time Mcmahon tried to help. Once that happens people wont buy PPV's which are expensive to run, they certainly wont sell out arena's which are expensive to rent and a bingo hall just doesnt have enough people to cover the wages constantly. I think last night was the perfect way to end ECW, with perhaps the option for a show maybe every 6 months or a year.
I am annoyed thought that Joel gertner wasnt allowed to really have mic time. That and here in uk they censored some words despite it being after mid-night, where you can see much worse on the playboy channel two clicks of the remote up

I think it could work if it had a TV show every week. And i think it would go over huge if they traveled, but having ECW in that bingo hall makes it truly authentic. The WWE needs ECW right now because the WWE product has become very stale with the same people on top and the same storylines rehashed over and over. Just give me a wrestling show without Triple H!!
