  • How many of you have been in love

How many of you have had a romantic relationship that became serious enough that you loved them. How many of you have "loved" more than one person? How many of you have considered marriage with that person, or are or were married to taht person? How many were married more than once?

Just some questions I dont think have been flaoting around much taht I wanted to get out

      1) I can say that.

      2) I can also say that I was TRULY in love with 4 special women in my life. I screwed up 2 of those relationships. One was sexually assaulted and it just affected her and our relationship too much. I tried to be patient, but she changed permanently. She ended up dumping me. And the last one, I married.

      3) See above. I considered or talked about marriage with the last two of the 4.

      4) Not married more than once. Hopefully, I will not have to be.

        I was in love once.

I had a high school sweetheart that I dated for 4 1/2 years. We moved in together after high school. We got engaged. She got pregnant. Just one problem....it wasn't mine. I was devastated. I didn't see it coming at all. I fell into a deep depression. I lost my job, my car, my fancy apartment, pretty much everything. It took me a long time to get back on my feet. It's pretty safe to say that I was never the same after that. Now I have an incredibly hard time getting close to women. As soon as I do, I push them away. I know common sense tells you to just try and "Get over it". I am over it. It just sometimes when something like that happens to a person, you take a certain path. I am too far down this certain path to turn back now. I don't have anything that can be fixed with meds or therapy. This is just the way I am now. A casualty of love.

I am only 22 years old, so there hasnt been that much love going on in my life...

Tell you the truth, I dont even truly know what love is..

I recently had a g/f who I loved spending time with, talking with, dreaming with... I never got sick of her... I thought that someday I could have married her... I looked forward to seeing her when I got home from work and what not...

She was my best friend for 3 years (maybe spent 3 days apart from each other)... But I dont know what love is... I think I might love the feeling you get when you know someone cares about you or wants you...

          Is that what love is?

I would never kill myself for anyone in the name of love... like the movies potray love to be...

I am just confused I guess...

That's not love. That's co-dependency. If you cannot define yourself as a person seperately or without a partner, that is unhealthy.

Of Course. If I was not in love, I would not be engaged. Period.

Well..I thought I was in love with this girl Carolyn..Because everything with her seemed to fall right in place and it was so wierd, how everything was just falling in place..I dont really know how to explain the situation we were in..But it wasnt love, and at that point in my life I dont think I knew what love was..And the funny thing is..That was just about 5 or 6 months ago..But OrangeSmoke couldnt have said it better.."when you find the right girl, you will definitley know what it is"..I mean..People might say I am too young to know what love is..But the girl I am with now..I know she is the one..I mean..I could go on all day about her..Ahh..I mean..I dont really even know how to say the way I feel about her..I am in love with her..And I truly do believe it was "love at first sight"..Because when we first met each other, something went off inside me..And automatically there was 'chemistry' or whatever you want to call it..And me and her have talked about marriage...But of course first we have talked about what we are going to do for college and everything..And since she is a year younger than me we have discussed what I am going to do while she finishes up her senior year and everything..I mean..Me and her can sit there and not say a word and we would be happy together, just because we would be together.I mean, wow..I love it..I love her..And I dont care what anyone says..I have had my fair share of girlfriends, and there has NEVER been one like this before..And there will never be one like this ever again, because I know we are going to be together for the rest of our lives..

                          I love my family.
In a romantic sense, I'm not really sure I've ever been in love...for one, it seems every time I think I'm in love, the feeling is usually THAT much stronger than the time before, which makes me wonder, 'was that really love?'...I don't know....
I've never considered marriage, and for the most part, I've always told myself that regardless of how much I like a girl, i'm not getting married til my late 20's/early 30's...there's just things I want to accomplish financially, socially, and mentally....if that person loves me, and I love her, then we dont' really need to get married to prove that...if it's love, she'll still be there when i'm ready.

I am...never been so sure...whenever i see her, I just feel relaxed...I feel relaxed staring into her eyes when I'm nervous around most people. I've never been able to talk to someone so...well, fluently. And it's so nice...she means pretty much everything to me, and she tells me the same...
