My great-great-grandfather fought in the Boer and First World War as an officer I believe. And he died in 1965, 30 years after retirement...

There are many soldiers over there that could use a letter or two, so if any one is interested go to http://www.adoptaplatoon.org/ it is a great moral booster.

Any way just me and my brother-in-law have been over there. My brother might be going soon.

I have one friend there... he is in the AirForce... He is a load master on C-130 transport planes... I dont think he see much action, but then again, it does really matter where you are, if your in the Iraqi boarders, you are a target...

    Connections to Soldiers

Are any of you in touch with or related to any of our soldiers overseas?

I, myself, have no personal connections, but I know a lot of people who have family/friends in the military.
