Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

no bro, dont do it! ive bought i think 3 Luda cd's now and they disappointed every time. there's like 1 maybe 2 good tracks on all of his cd's. well.. you like his new one though so maybe our taste is a little different, cause i didnt like that one either. is "welcome to atlanta" on that cd? "stand up" is a good track too but other than that, i thouight the rest of the cd was useless.
mum's the word.. cause it seems no matter what i say right here, it always gets deleted.

I bought Outkast's double disc set. I liked Big Boi's CD, but I don't like Dre's. Everyone loves it, and I can't understand it. I guess it's because I like more traditional hip-hop and The Love Below is far from traditional.
I bought the Youngbloodz CD because of their single. That was a waste of money.
And even though it's a little old, I picked up Gangstarr's latest album (The Ownerz). I've always liked them and Premiere always has two or three beats on a CD that makes me forget about the lyrics. Not too many people like Gangstarr as much as I do, but I would suggest it to anyone who likes hip-hop.

hey Ohio, our choices for music are pretty damn identicle. check it out... back in December i caught a show in Los Angeles headlining The Roots but the total package was excellent. all under one roof i got to see Slum Village, J-5, Gangstarr n Premier, Talib Kweli n Dub C, Dialated Peoples and Common n Erika Badu. ive seen J-5, Roots, Gangstarr, etc etc quite a few times but i hadnt seen Slum Village before, they were good. it was a good time but with the tickets i bought, i wasnt even aware that i was allowed free drinks (i dont drink, but the Coke was cold! haha) and backstage passes so i got to meet nearly all of them but actually got along quite well with Kweli and Akil from J-5. i had a blast.
you dont like Andre3000's idea of hip hop? its by all means still hip hop, just from a different perspective. i think its pretty hip and its good to see someone like him taking it to a different level, cause that dude's got talent! that double cd's pretty good... they both had a bunch of wasted space i think, but both cd's did have a couple really good tracks.

I love The Roots. They aren't traditional either, but you gotta love the fact that they use real instruments. I have all of their CDs (except Things Fall Apart). I mostly listen to do you want more?!!!??! and iladelph halflife.
You're right. We do have similar tastes. However, I liked Common a whole lot more when he was Common Sense. He seemed to have more fun back then. That's just my opinion. I still would've had a good time at that concert. All of those MCs have lyrics that make you think. They're definitely a dying breed.
Andre3000's idea of hip-hop isn't for everyone. It's just too different for me. I admire him for going in a different direction, but it's not for me.
