Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Have any cordless tools? Black and Decker made its money because NASA decided to give that company its designs for cordless tools so they could make it for NASA.
Have any smoke detectors? NASA developed those for the SKYLAB, first American space station, through Honeywell.
Do you like your clean water? NASA developed a system that uses H2OME, a molecule, which cleans the water and is used in private homes, towns, and large cities to purify water.
A new type of insulation has come out, a local Oklahoma company called Smart House Consultants sells it, that guarantees you will only use so many kilo-watt hours per year for energy. It uses technology from the Apollo heat shield program to provide better insulation.
Do you like to watch all of those Denver Bronco games? They are broadcasted on satellites, developed initially by NASA, to provide clear quality of events that are thousands of miles from your location.
And the helmet padding that protects our favorite players from having their brains scrambled was developed by NASA.
These are only a few, but NASA and other space programs around the world continue to develop new technology which we use in every day life. In order to live in space inventions are needed, and those inventions soon find their place in the commerical business and our lives.
Sorry if I sound a bit snoodish, I'm just an engineer and I can't help it when I talk about stuff like this. It excites me. Remember the thread earlier about the power from a engine on a dragster (NASCAR being a sport or not)? If not, see my comment towards the end that had everyone laughing.
You answered it quite well, thank you. Not to mention in the tone I would expect from an engineer, snoodish.....LOL
See all you engineers are the same.........(well at least the male variety, I havent met any female engies yet)

Personally I don't like female engineers that much. They are like me in to many categories, and I can barely stand myself
I think I am a bit better than the average engineer. I am not nerdy like most, I play sports and usually excel at them, I don't take my work home or constantly think about it, and I have some ability and appreciation of the arts (I play piano and attend plays).
