    Wow that did look fun!

I don't have any cola though but I guess it would work with lemonade.

Dunno where I'd get the Mentos though, don't think I've ever seen them in shops round here. I wonder if there's anything I could use as a substitute?

Wouldn't it be a riot if you had a whole class of kids doing that in the science lab!

Do you think it would work with lager?

I'm just amazed at how little soda is left in the bottle after the reaction and how high the soda shoots up. I might have to try it with a lager and see what happens. If it doesn't then no big deal; I'll have a minty brew to enjoy. If it does work then I'll be out 1 tasty beverage, but have something exciting to talk about.

I'm not sure about a substitute, but you're bound to find something.

When you try the lager experiment, how about you suspend yourself upside down from the ceiling directly above the bottle, you should have a great time lol !

Link to the site works, but I cannot get the ifilm player to work in Mozilla or IE.

I even turned of Norton and my pop up stopper like it suggested.

          Nothing happens.

Jaws a packet of Polos works quite well. They arnt the same as Mentos but the sugar in the whole pack alone gives it a real boost. Anyone ever notice how a coke goes cold when you put a mint in it?
"On a given day, a given circumstance, you think you have a limit. And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit, and you think, 'Okay, this is the limit'. And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. With your mind power, your determination, your instinct, and the experience as well, you can fly very high."

There are plenty of others there for all of you to try with your kiddies. Have fun.
