Teacher/Student sex scandal!

Besides NEVER being acceptable, I am ticked about the double standard when handling the punishment for these crimes.

I remember reading recently that male teachers are sentenced to serve terms nearly twice as long as female teachers.

Feminist scream bloody murder when a male teacher abuses a female student (as well they should).

Where's their outrage when a female teacher abuses a male student?

They should be treated equally, but they aren't.

BTW... for anyone who doesn't know me well enough... I was joking with my vote, and I apologize to anyone who does not find it funny... I do not find this acceptable under any terms.

yeah but about 95% of those kids are either home-schooled or private schooled. i guess i shouldn't have said private school kids are nerdy i should of said kids on the national spelling bee are nerdy. notice i said national not school. becuase there is no way i could ever make it to the national level. Those kids are really freakin smart but they seem really preppy. and the only thing that annoys me more then the goths/skater "clique" are the freakin preps.

I think I get what you mean, while some of them do look like nerds, some of them don't. Just becuase somebody is smarter than ya, it doesn't mean they're a nerd. I think you just don't like the preppy type, basically.
