He didn't get suspended, he got ejected. Big difference!

Further to your other comments. I think that if Vancouver goes to the Stanley Cup finals, you will see Bert reinstated before next season starts regardless of Moore's condition. He will have sat out well over 30 games if they play 7 game series all the way thru.

      IMHO

As wrong as it is, yes, there will be players who feel the need to give Bertuzzi a taste of his own medicine. I am not encouraging it, but I have watched enough hockey to know that it is a truthful statement.

We disagree on the second statement, but I guess we shall see come August or whenever he can apply.

He did what he did in retaliation for something else, am I right?

Actually, for all of Bertuzzi's rhetoric leading up to the game, bottom line, the hit he complained about 2 weeks prior was clean. No penalty called. I saw it, and it was hard, but not dirty.

He may feel he was retaliating, but I personally feel he had no legitimate complaint.

I also have to wonder why on earth Colorado's coach had Moore in there that late? It was 7-2 Colorado at the time, and Moore had been challenged I think 5 or 6 times already, including 2 or 3 fights. I am not blaming Colorado's coach, but this whole situation was absolutely preventable. And he has to honestly assess whether he could have prevented it. I think he could have, personally.

yes it was bogus - he was completely accidental and incidental - but they say touching is touching and you aint allowed - im ok with it as long as they call it on every player every time - just be consistant in that are, ya know

As bogus as Lepsis getting thrown out from the other game...forget who that one was against, that was an away game & I was at work.

It was this past monday night vs the Raiders (aka the home season opener) I was there and we couldn't really tell what had happened...All I remember was that Rod had gotten attacked after the play was over & when he went to punch the raider back in retaliation, the ref got in the way & oopsadaisy. An argument between different people ensued & the next thing we know Rod was being escorted off the field--we weren't sure if it was an injury or what...Finally someone that had a radio filled us in; I saw the replays later...It was bull.

                It was a retarded call

The call was stupid, but as far as being accidental, it was accidental that he hit the ref, but he did intend to hit someone, the player just moved out of the way.

When did you say anything about intending to hit someone?
