Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Did any of my fellow futbol fans see the latest FIFA world rankings. USA #5. You have got to be kidding me!!!!! I think France was 8th or 9th. We don't have a player on our team that would crack the starting lineup for the French team. If we played them in a friendly, they would destroy us.
2 questions.
How do they come up with the world rankings?
Will the US even get out of group play this summer?
Wow, that is high. I don't know how this system works but right through it doesn't seem to be very accurate. Some of the European nations in particular seem to be lower than I would expect them to be.
my bad twotone, I didn't do a search before I posted that. I like Beasley he's quick. Nobody else on our team scares anybody. I know Mc Bride has played well at times for Fulham, and Bocanegra as well. I guess I'm being pessimistic about the summer ahead of us. I'm excited though.
If I could remember how to give you a cp I would. Sorry for stepping on your thread. Good find on espn.com. Sometimes I go to msnbc.com for soccer, i mean futbol news. i seem to use the spanish spelling for football so we don't get confused around here.
There are much better teams in Europe and SouthAmerica than the US
US and Mexico are overrated, because of their W-L record. They have a lot of wins, but they are against teams from the CONCACAF. I mean, it's not that hard to win against El Salvador or Guatemala

ha, no worries dude just glad someone else enjoys soccer here in america...
The ranking seems just about right, considering the us has been destroying their opponents of late, considering starting their b and c teams since alot of the players play abroad.
We may have players that play abroad, but our best players in the EPL are our goalies. My boy Freidel is a beast. I'm not sure where Casey Keller is now.
Is Tim Howard still on Man U? I watch some of their games but I haven't seen him in a while.
Cool. Thanks for the info. I saw something about that in the paper but there was no time or date listed. The Charlotte Observer sucks. I'm thankful for the Denver Post, and Rocky Mountain news online pages.
first of all, i'm not braging myself, well maybe just lil' bit...lol
I don't believe those rankings, germany is a 20+ and they favorites for the WC, they always are...
The game against you guys, you will maybe win or even a draw...but expect germany at the world cup, they always get there...
It is truly something in your blood, you will never play soccer like us, and we will never play basketball like you...simple as that, you are born with it
watch an english guy play soccer and a brazilian, the difference is huge...those who like soccer know what i'm saying...
