If there is such a thing as soul mates, the chances that we find that one person are incredibly low.

Really though, I don't think that there are soul mates. There are good matches, and even fantastic matches, but they are not exclusive.

I know several people that I honestly don't think that ANYBODY would match with them and I know some people that a lot of people could easily be happy with.

I for one think that I would be the perfect solution for any woman looking for somebody that is excellent all around, but that doesn't mind a little arrogance.

It would kick ass if soul mates existed, but there is not a sliver of evidence that they do exist, so I doubt they do. Basically, the same way that I feel about the existence of a god. I mean, it would be sweet if it was true, but it likely isn't.

Never underestimate the power of the furry little ones, they have away of sneaking into your heart and staying there.

I used to believe in the whole soul mate thing but changed my mind about it when I divorced my first 'soul mate'.....

My wife now I couldn't imagine living without and I love her very much which is how I felt in my first relationship. I think soul mate is simply an expression some sap thought up to describe their feelings for somebody.

The only difference between my first marriage and the one now is I'm genuinely happier now. I don't believe in the whole soul mate thing but I do agree there is probably only a handful of people who are truly compatible with me but I don't care to find out because I've got a great thing already.

Yep. I just want someone who doesn't bore me after 3 months, or piss me off too much. Or as my best friends say, I need someone willing to stand up to me!

That's a good sign... too bad you live so far away from most of these guys, though! Makes for a wee bit of difficulty.
