I see you are in SoCal. Where abouts? If close to me, how was your dealer experience? Would you recommend them?
my mom in law has an Escape and she loves it....she will drive a Chevy or a Ford...
our preference is GM...Hubby has a Silverado...his 2nd one....he loves it....Leave a comment:

I bought my Expedition from Palm Springs Motors, who also sell Lincolns, which our local one doesn't. Good experience there too, but I knew exactly what I wanted when I went there, down to the VIN, thanks to their internet inventory. Their saleman actually had very little to do, lol.
The Escape is a neat little suv. I had an Explorer for 4 years, and really liked it too. Just needed more size in the long run, so I went with the Expedition. My parents had Chrysler cars for decades, going all the way back to 1968, and they were all excellent long lasting cars.Last edited by ladybronco87; 03-24-2006, 11:32 PM.Leave a comment:

Originally posted by ladybronco87Well, I'm sure each of those trucks have their pros and cons, but I couldn't say what they are. My husband and I have been a Ford family for the past 15 years. In January of 2005 we bought a Ford F250 4X4 with the 6 litre Power Stroke diesel. It tows so nice you can't even feel our horse trailer, and it's a 3 horse slant with dressing room. We wouldn't trade it for anything either, sorry JWinn, I know how you feel about your Dodge, lol. We don't drive it every day though, I have my 04 Expedition, and the truck just rolled over to 5000 miles.
When we bought this truck, it was the first time a dealer wanted to take our picture, but it was ok with me because I had my Eddie Mac jersey on! They sent us a copy of the photo laminated into a calendar, so the scan is a little bright, plus it was night by the time we wrapped up the sale.
Here we are posing with the truck
A friend traded his Titan back in for a jeep, but I don't think it was because he didn't like it. Other friends have the Tundra and they seem to like it fine but I didn't ride in either.............so Buy Ford!!!

I think I just probably got lucky really. I know that one vehicle off a line can be a gem, and the very next one can be a piece of garbage. I got the gem this time!
70,000 + miles, and I have yet to have a problem.
Even for a brand new Ram, I wouldnt trade it away. It's been that good to me.Leave a comment:
