Longest you've gone without food

Recently a local radio station host went on a hunger strike for a 'hungry kids in america' cause. She was supposed to go 36 hrs without a bite only able to drink pedialyte to keep electrolytes up but that's it. It got me wondering how long I could go...........

I've been without food for maybe 24-28 hrs but I was really feeling it getting all woozy and major headaches and that didn't have anything to do with surgery or hospitalization, I just forgot to eat!

So what's the longest any of you have gone without eating.......??

Ummm, lets see, about 10 hours or so. I'm sure thats nothing, but boy, was I hungry.

Your 24hr fast and forgetting to eat wouldn't have anything to do with being on a liquid diet at that particular time would it? Hint-->

24 hours is the most I've been without food and that was on August 17th, 1987 on my 17th birthday when I was having major surgery to remove some infected bones from my middle ear and part of the mastoid bone which is at the base of the skull behind your ear

Well, it might have. I tend to forget to eat when drinking sometimes, hence the alcohol goes to my brain a little bit faster.......
