I'd much rather get up in the morning and look forward to going to work. Making enough to be comfortable.

I already know that I could make 50-100% more than I currently do.........but I've been there seen it and bought the T-shirt.
I like to be able to get up, and know that I'm going to work with a decent bunch of folk, that I'm going to have a couple of good chats & laughs during the day, and that I'm going to have to work bloody hard as and when needs must.
Hell, if I take 5 minutes at some point during the day to have a quick look at the paper or the net and the chief exec walks in, he's likely to ask if it's anything interesting
Maybe I'm fortunate in that I'm a test engineer for a high cost, low volume place. But as long as the job gets done, they're a good bunch as long as I don't take the p!55The Whiskyteers ~ One for all, and all for MORE!!!!

This is how I see it:
A job that's in a field of work that I do not enjoy at all for $100k a year...
Or a job I love that is in a field I enjoy (and probably surrounded by friendly employees) for $50k a year...
I'll take the latter. Money, to me, isn't worth crap if I'm not enjoying the work to get it.
