  • --- Woman Predicts Own Death !!! ---

--- About two weeks before her death, Julie C. Jensen went to a neighbor, shaking and crying, and handed over a sealed envelope ---

--- If anything happened to her, she said, he should give it to police ---

--- She wrote that she felt her husband never forgave her for a brief affair she had seven years earlier, and that she had seen him visit Internet sites about poisoning ---

--- 7 years later, The Wisconsin State Supreme Court is considering whether to allow her statements as evidence in her husband's murder trial

--- The Court is citing a US Supreme Court case in which, according to the Constitution, a criminal defendant is guaranteed the right to confront his accusers ---

--- Even though there is a mountain of evidence, her letters and voice mails may not be allowed --- because she is dead ---

--- Mark Jenson’s defense lawyer is claiming the victim committed suicide ---

I read about this this morning. This is rough. It sounds like the testimony of the neighbor might get in, so they still probably have a pretty solid case, although this story could very well poison the jury pool. Should be interesting to follow.
      HEAR ME ROAR!

I'm just playing devil's advocate here, but imagine the following scenario:

Women wants revenge on hubby, women is slightly, well crazy.

She tells neighbor that she thinks hubby is going to kill her.

She then commits suicide in such a way that puts the blame on the hubby.

            Far fetched but entirely possible.

I was going to post the same thing until I read the whole article....
A forensic toxicologist found no trace of ethylene glycol in the house, the complaint said. She would have been too weak to hide the chemical after drinking the last dose, it said.

The day before the death, the defendant went to an Internet site that, among other things, describes the stages and effects of antifreeze poisoning, the complaint said.
                  Thanks, Reid!
