    I think I've seen an example of this where they held up a sheet of some sort of material and they turned it on and off or something. I dunno, very interesting though. Would be a good fit for scouts and snipers in the military.

        It actually isn't refracting light, it's projecting the image behind him onto the front.

            wow thats pretty cool.

            jhns- i guess we will have to adapt to thermo-vision, you know infrared, seeing heat, when the public gets this kind of stuff
