Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

During a year when all four #1 seeds made it to the final four? This is the year that the 50something lady in accounting won every office pool in the nation.

I don't know what has happened. Up until January or so, I didn't care about sports at all. I razzed Trych a little around Christmas time, telling him that my son is turning into a Ravens fan out here, because he has no good role models... That got my little man a winter hat and personalized jersey for Christmas. Then Trych convinced me to sign up for the boards, because of all of the cool people he met here... he was always talking about stuff that happened here, so I figured I might as well join. I love this place. I'm obsessed. I hate not being able to stop in and see what's going on.
Well, somewhere in the middle, I started to care about sports, too... I don't know when and/or how THAT happened, but here's the situation I found myself in last night. I was astounded: I came on here and posted for a while. Then I joined a Fantasy Football league (I'm sure to get my head handed to me on a platter, as I know nothing). Then I was talking on the phone to Trych, and he mentioned that the Canes game was on. So I turned it on. Then, in between first and second periods, I was flipping through the channels, and found the Reds/White Sox game, and watched the last inning of that, while keeping Trych on the phone, so he could keep me up to date with the Canes game. Finished baseball, flipped back to hockey and watched the end of that game. Right now, my TV is being used, so I have Trych on the phone so that he can keep me up to date on the US Open.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME?

I found one, but the numbskull is a Cowboys fan. We have the Yankees thing and she likes the Knicks because I do, but that Cowboys thing bothers me because she can be a LOUD Cowboys fan when she wants to.
I think you will make a dude very very happy, but I must warn you. If you marry a fan of an intense rival, you may have to be away from them during the games. I've heard stories.
Oh yeah, congrats on the NCAA Bracket challenge on the Chargers board. I think you finished second. Another hotness factor. Man you're hot and stuff.
