Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

This is something you wouldnt think would happen to older people...IMO....I guess she was heartbroken and just lost it...what a way to spend your last years....locked up....
Yep she should not have done that. She is in her very late years of life. Shouldn't be spending it in the big house.
Too bad that 85 year old man had to lose his life in this way.
Kind of a strange way to go after 85-years, although can't say I wouldn't have complained. He died for a reason, became a statistic, instead of just another "passed away due to old age" victims.
"When Kepler found his long-cherished belief did not agree with the most precise observation, he accepted the uncomfortable fact. He preferred the hard truth to his dearest illusions; that is the heart of science."

wow....a gun toting granny.......and chop the article didnt mention how she got the gun..
--- The old man wasn't fooling around, she just imagined it ---
--- Senior citizens comprise the largest percentage of new handgun owners ---
--- Seniors are becoming easy prey to thugs and home invaders ---
--- It is not unusual at all for seniors to have hand guns, and know how to use them safely --- they frequently attend classes to permit and handle them ---
--- At least here in AZ, prospective perps have met more than their match on many occasions ---
Reading this reminds me of the 'Birdman of Alcatraz'.
Very intelligent man, who spent most of his life behind bars. When he was on his deathbed many believed he should be released to spent what little remained of his life back where he was from. But, they decided that he was already home as he had spent his life in prison since he was a young man.
Now, on topic. What do you think her family would have done to her. They would have done it the American way. Send her to a 'Nursing Home'. A prison in and of itself.
