Unicron would crush the death star, I don't even know why this is a discussion. The time it takes the Death Star to fire makes it impracticle in a fight with someone as mobile as Unicron.

All Unicron has to do is smash the Dish on the outside that fires the beam and Bamo, no more death ray. Also no more NFL Sunday Ticket either, which would be the biggest loss.

This is incorrect. The 3rd Death Star, which was actually the prototype, was sucked into a black hole, so no, not all Death Stars explode.

This is by far one of the best topics in quite some time.

I would have to go with Unicron, because he has an awesome voice (Orson Wells died during the making of the 1986 classic!) and by the way, the newer transformers movies are a pile of steaming horse jizz compared to that movie.

I would have to know if it had its 200+ TIE squadrons available for use against unicron....otherwise Unicron could just sneak up behind the Superlaser side and grab a hold of the death star.

Also depends on which version of Unicron we're talking about. In the comics, he's depicted being as large as Saturn, which means the Death Star (I THINK) can fit in the palm of his hands. In the cartoon though, his size varies at virtually every scene due to scaling inconsistencies.

Is the Death Star fast enough to maneuver with Unicton's attempts to get behind it? If so, I'd give it a chance. If not, Unicron could just fly behind the superlaser and crush it or begin to absorb it. At that point, The Empire would have to rely on The Force from Vader, Palpatine and any one else powerful enough to give them a chance to survive.

Wait!!!! I am confused. According to Wookieepedia, the third death star is non canon. But according to another wiki, The Third Death Star destroyed Korriban before it was destroyed itself. I hope Wookieepeida is correct. I would hate to see Korriban destroyed because of its vast amount of History of the sith and the dark side...

Actually, Unicron eats planets and would have no trouble eating the Death Star but he would have to get close enough and catch the Death Star with it's pants down.
