    to anybody that can help:

i want to change my avatar to a custom one, but every time i try to add one, it says that the dimentions are too large, even though i've compressed them and they cant be any smaller.

also i want to add a pic to my signature, but i dont know how to do that can anybody help me with that please.

any help would be highly appreciated, thanx.

Avatar limit is 80 x 80 pixels. Bitmap images commonly have more bytes that are allowed, so these will be the exception to the pixel rule. Same goes with sig. pic's.

Sig. pictures have to have an online address and should be arranged like this: [img] http, etc.... [/img]

        Thanks GITM.

Arab--All of this is covered in the "Newbie FAQ" I understand that you aren't a "newbie" but it's all there, including several of us who have volunteered to help shrink avs etc.

Oh, cool. I didn't know you created a FAQ page, sweet. I'll link any future ?'s to it, from now on.

Aye, I got bored the other night, and a little tired of the same questions all the time (especially when people kept saying "Ask blue, she'll help! ) So I decided to help the mods out a bit & set it all up! Thanks!

Yes, one way around getting it uploaded is to "attach it" to one of your posts, right click it & scroll down to properties, copy & paste the http address that it has...It's a little known secret that I don't usually tell...One thing about that is that if your post gets moved or deleted though, then you're SOL...

Arab...you're missing the slash ( / ) in your image tag.

Like this: [img] http, etc... [/img]
