Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Anyone who even starts smoking is a moron anyway...
Yeah, at your age I thought I knew everything too.
Do you realize that when I grew up 60's/70's...smoking was PROMOTED? It was sexy! It was "in" and "hip"! Commercials were attractive (i.e., Viriginia Slims or the Marlboro Man).
If I was growing up in your generation...I would feel just the opposite. Talking about things here you are incapable of understanding by your "moron" comment, obviously.
However, I completely agree starting up TODAY would be insane! The writing is on the wall now.
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
I've been dipping since I was 15, almost 22 now. I have quit a couple of times, when I got my wisdom teeth pulled (a couple of months) and when I was deployed last summer (4 months). I'm not trying to quit...sometimes I just quit without reason...I'm sure one day I'll quit...
Best of luck quitting smoking. It's a lot easier to quit the snuff than it is the smokes.
