The helmets they issue us are some of the most God awful uncomfortable things I've ever worn and these things make helmets at least tolerable and somewhat comfortable. Some of the SPs here have them and I've had the opportunity to check 'em out. Good stuff. -

More help for our soldiers.....
Don't know if anybody else has seen this....but I saw a rerun of Glen Beck tonight and he was talking with a guy about this.
There's a website, here where you can go to divvy up a donation towards these 'fillers' for the military helmets. They cost appx $71 for a kit, and are flying like hotcakes. Hell, even Cher donated some bucks toward the cause.....
The Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center's (DVBIC) funding has been cut in half - from $14M to $7M, so they're needing money from us.
They slide into the sides/front/back of the helmets to keep them snug against the head. Don't know how many here have actually had to wear helmets, but they're anything BUT snug.
