Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Tried to watch it a couple different times, & had a heck of a time getting into it. I thought maybe because its more of a “guy show” but my husband didn’t care for it either. I thought the movie was decent. But I don’t come from a small town that HS football meant what they make it out to be on this show. It just seems so far fetched to me.

It's not that far fetched, football is pretty big out here.
I know Odessa isn't the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex or Houston but were are not a small town. There's just under 100,000 people that live in Odessa alone. Add in Midland which only 10 miles away and you have nearly 200,000 people in the area.
I suppose its all relative, but I know what a small town is I grew up in one. Green River, WY was about town of 12,000 people. So for me Odessa is a big town.
Hey...this thread was pretty much buried...but I dint want to start another one. Is anyone watching? I'm pretty much addicted to it. Am I the only one???
Well....the locker room got destroyed by the rival team and coach told them that they weren't allowed to retaliate...but Matt and some of the other guys go and beat the crap out of the other team's QB's car. The QB is only able to see that Matt is one of the guys.
Meanwhile...Matt is struggling with that new QB guy around and coach tells him to go get himself a girlfriend...little does he know that Matt likes his daughter...that was pretty cute.
Matt ends up getting beat up by the other team and he has to go to the daughter's dance recital with coach as punishment for destroying the car...but its not punishment because Matt likes the girl...
Yeah AND LILA THE SKANK MAD EOUT WITH THAT ONE GUY AGAIN.
Well..um more stuff happened but I cant remember everything...but it was really good. You should try and see it!

Me and my brother are addicted to it as well, this is about the only episode we've missed in a while.
