I guess the problem with your blanket statement about the lazy single parenting, is that you can also have the lazy regular parenting as well, as well as GOOD single parents.

Maybe just "lazy" would be better wording......

Yeah, you can have lazy regular parenting but it's still much easier to raise children with two.

Single parenting is SKY ROCKETING and not all these single parents are as strong as your mother. So there is an obvious concern. Maybe it's only obvious to me, no one here seems to think it matters. I think it's going to have a dramatic effect on our entire social landscape.

No, it's obvious and tragic in it's own right, all the single parenting.
Blame Gloria Steinem.... this is a funny read TDK (and scary too)...

I think RC is a conservative too, so he should probably agree on some
of these types of issues in the article?
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
