Well folks tonight there was a shooting at my school it happened about 7-8 o clock at Lincoln-Way Central in New Lenox,Ill. The story goes like this...there was heavy traffic around the main road by my school and a cop was pulling over this guy who obviously did something wrong so the guy went into the back of our schools parking lot and the cops were about to give his ticket and what not when all of a sudden the guy shot the 2 police officers and injured both of them later on when more cops came he was shot an killed. there are bullet holes and windows r broken in the back of the school where it happened. This is just a shock to me cause nothing ever ever happens in this town and im just surprised this happened.

At least it was after school. I thought it was another student shooting when I read the thread title.
I will pray for the officers and their families.

The family of the deceased gunman will likely demand an internal review of the entire event from start to finsih...I guarantee there will be a civil trail...Meanwhile, the Policemen that were involved directly in the shooting will likely be placed on indefinite leave until a disposition on the matter has been reached, we're talkin' many, many months...
As a Policeman, you never want to shoot someone...It is a formality of duty that a policeman hopes never, ever takes place...You have to live with it for the rest of your life...chances are, if you have kids, they'll have to live with it too because schoolkids will torture them about it for the remained of their academic existence...I've walked these streets, a loaded six-string on my back, I play for keeps 'cause I might not make it back, I've been everywhere still I'm standin' tall, I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all!!:salute!:Comment

the shooter the vechicle drove in was from Louisiana.
He had an automatic pistol.
everything was caught on tape with our school parking lot cameras.
97 bullet shells have been found so far.
When the guy ran out of ammo he ran towards our green house where one of the injured cops got up and shot him in the back of the head.
