Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Nice try...I find that men handle physical pain better than women in general...and women tend to handle emotional pain better than men in general...
I ceratinly wouldn't be yelling and carrying on like someone cut off a limb...
Most guys cry and whine at the onset of a cold....labor would physically kill half of them.
I think the womens role has become tougher as we have protested for equal rights. As a woman and mother, a single one at that, I have taken on the role of mother, provider, healer, cleaner, and every other conceivable role there is in life. All by choice so you won't hear complaining from me. In a normal 2 party relationship I think it's more of an equal. I think it all depends on the situation and the 2 people involved. In good relationships both parties take on responsibilities. In bad ones, one party takes on more than the other.
As far as just which is the tougher of the 2 sexes....
Women:
Child bearing: It's a 1000x harder than most men have in their heads...and they think it's bad.
Monthly visitor: It's a bigger pain in the ass than anyone really gives it credit for. It's bad enough that most women pray for menapause to set in. I know I do. The thought of getting into my 40's scares me, but I have one shining gleaming thing to look forward to...the monthly visitor takes a permanent hike!
Child rearing: While a man goes to work for 8 hours a day (in most cases) a woman's job is non-stop. There are no boundaries of time. From the moment you wake up until the moment you go to sleep, most of the day is spent molding children into good humans with good morals and decision making. This can be said for men also, but the woman is so overly involved in this. There was a saying in a movie, The Crow, that is so true: Mother is the name of God on the lips of all children.
Houselhold chores: Although the hubby should and often does help with these duties, it's also non-stop. Between cleanup of every room in the house, dishes, laundry and everything else so that every member in the house has exactly what they need, it's a lot.
Homework: Some dad's help with this, some don't. In most cases mom is the first person the children ask, because often enough mom is home after school and dad is at work.
Working moms: Then to top all of those off, there are a ton of women in the workplace just to make the bills. Take 8-9 hours out of a woman's day for work, and all of the jobs listed above have to be done in half the amount of time and usually after work, after they are already dog tired.
Male:
Work
Household chores
Help with the children
Work on the family vehicles
Add on whatever you may do that alot of other males might or might not.
Most guys cry and whine at the onset of a cold....labor would physically kill half of them.
Most women cry when I pull them over...never had a man do that...
And I'll have you know that I pull my weight in the home just as much as Mrs. Law Man...
The thing about aiming and the toilet was a joke, I clean just as much IF NOT MORE than Mrs. Law Man...
and...
Generate 75% of the Law Man household income...
Find a way to maintain my physique...(Bodybuild)
I don't cook, I was born with the wrong sex organs...We eat out or a pizza goes in the oven when I decide to make dinner...
Coach Football...we were undefeated this year...
Sort, wash, dry, fold and put away laundry...oh, and without complaining while I do it...
all while treating Mrs. Law Man like the princess that society has deemed her...
I've walked these streets, a loaded six-string on my back, I play for keeps 'cause I might not make it back, I've been everywhere still I'm standin' tall, I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all!!:salute!:
No matter how you slice it, I'd rather be a man than a woman. I don't care who has it better. As a man I get to be with my wife, if I were a woman, I'd have to be with some one like me.
I like playing with my power tools and other "man" toys.
I think one more thing women have to worry about is; who is this guy and what does he really want me for? Of course, I wonder that about everyone, so maybe it's not such a big deal.
There are two kinds of teams in the AFCW; The losers and the Broncos!!!

How do you expect me to have a RED WHITE and BLUE sig when the background is obnoxious white?
Most women cry when I pull them over...never had a man do that... That's just to try to get out of the ticket...most are not real tears.

Coach Football...we were undefeated this year... Woooohoooo congrats!
Sort, wash, dry, fold and put away laundry...oh, and without complaining while I do it...

I let them go about half the time when they cry...
I had a lady just last week...she just started bawlin'...I let her go because she was honest with me about everything...she told me that she was going 50 in a 30 and she was...she told me that she had never got a ticket before and she had not...I checked...I also gave her a break on her inspection certificate..it was expired...
then there was that other time...
Same exact road...pulled a girl over for driving 49 in the 30...oh, dear lord did she cry...and I wrote her a ticket anyway...and I sat in the car behind her watching her flail her arms in the air like she was still arguing with me for a few minutes...then I pulled up along side of her, rolled down my window and told her "Ma'am if you are going to remain on the roadside, you will need to activate your 4-way flashers"...yup, somebody's princess didn't get her way on that day...
Regarding the lifting...the point is, that I find the time to maintain a desireable physique in spite of all the other daily activities...so when she tells me that she doesn't have time to go walk, I know that it's unadulterated BS...
Mom always cooked for me when I was a little Law Man...and so should my wife for our boys...perhaps if I had a job where I came in and got out at exactly the same time every single day come hell or high water, I would come home and make dinner every night...until then...she cooks...

He said guys getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than a woman giving birth.
When a guy is around a bunch of his friends and he says he got his junk rattled, what do they do? They all immediately grab their crotch and go "Ohhhhh!!" in pain!
When a woman said she just gave birth, women don't grab their crotch and go "ohhh" in pain, no, they all go "awwww" thats beautiful!
He didn't have many dates back in high school .
I think life can be tougher for a gentleman than a woman, but an average guy, I dunno. I mean, a gentleman walks in the cold to his girlfriend's place so she doesn't have to. Gets in fights for guys hitting on her. Has to take her punches, as men don't hit women.
I think the women on the site are going to hate me
And I wouldn't want men in charge of child birth. They'd arrange labor about their favorite sport on TV. Plus, they just can't handle pain like women endure.....
I was crying harder than my wife was when my sons were born
Rest in Peace, Darrent and Damien. You will be forever in our thoughts
I was crying harder than my wife was when my sons were born
One of my favorite lines in a comedy show was in Friends when Rachel was having her baby, and she goes to 'push' and kinda headbutts Ross....
He gets up and says 'Do you have any idea how much this hurts?'
I have always thought that the 'pregnancy is more painful than anything a man will ever go through' was silly...
My appendix exploded, and that was plenty painful... also resulted in 3 weeks in the hospital. I had to deal with that at 13... most women are older when they give birth...
And women WERE built to bear child, otherwords every pregnancy would end in tears and lots of bleeding.
That said... I have lots of respect for women for what they go through...
Socially, women and men are starting to reach that even level. There's the coming possibility of a woman president, and more and more women are in the political system. House-husbands are getting more common, having the wife out at work instead of the hubby. Many women are independent, branching out into their own careers.
"When Kepler found his long-cherished belief did not agree with the most precise observation, he accepted the uncomfortable fact. He preferred the hard truth to his dearest illusions; that is the heart of science."
No doubt that's true! I don't want to do it, sounds like a lot of pain and pushing to me, not to mention the whole nine month thing with morning sickness.
My hats off to the women for that but, it is something that is considered a blessing.
pushing for up to 5 hours. shoot i give up on a dump after 30 minutes.
in all seriousness, though. women rule the earth, they have more power then they know, luckily for us they dont realize how much power they have.
not that i am a control freak, or have to have the power, but dam, that much power in anyones hand is scary
