          Oh that sucks.

Do you have a recent log of downloads and sites visited?

          Try and remember.

I doubt it's from my internet.

This morning I remember me taking out my video card and cleaning the fan and I think that's the cause but I honestly don't see how taking out my video card can make me lose memory in my harddrive!

              Absolutely no clue!

Something is screwing with it though. Perhaps you have a virus.

I doubt it's a virus but I'll run my virus scanner anyways..

What drive was it? What things were in that drive? Is it connected to a network?

                    Give a lot of details.

And how have your virus scan come up?

P.S. Get Ad-Ware SE. Unless you have an adaware blocker or scanner or w/e. Norton has Ad-Blocking it prevents Adware.

It's not a virus that's all I'm going to say.

It's my H: drive, with ALL my music and videos that I've paid for on ITUNES!!!!

It's not connected to a network.

Maybe some ESD messed up my computer while I was plugging the things back in?

Do you have usernames and you switched to a different one on your PC?

I really do not know then.

                        Well I tried.

                          Assuming your OS is Windows 2000/XP . . .

Run chkdsk /f on it. Go to START > RUN and type "chkdsk /f" in the field.

It won't want to run it but will ask if you want to schedule it for the next reboot. Tell
                          it yes, then reboot.

I'm not saying that IS the answer, but it could be since you're sure you don't have a
virus (which was my first guess).

Did you unplug due to a storm by chance?

You may have downloaded a program that contained a virus. Limewire's P2P cannot be always safe, especially if you accept downloading files from other computers
