  • Can You Believe It?

Well, guys and gals, right now the temperature on the 9News site is 61. And it is very nice, BUT, we could get another MAJOR snow storm starting either late Wed., or early Thurs., and possibly going into Fri. Right now, the weather people say that they can not predict exactly how much snow we can get. I definitely hope it is not another major one, as we still have MUCH snow left from the one we just got!!!!!!

It better not interfere with trash pickup again. They blew me off this last week, and if the do so again, I'm going to have to load up the pickup and make a dump run. Which will cost me $60!!!

But other than that, bring it on!!! :thumb:

You should know by now that Kathy and her boys cant predict the weather here more than 24 hours out, lol.

I know what you mean - my scheduled day is Friday, and they had a recording that last week's Friday would be picked up along with this week's Friday - RIGHT - If they can make it.

Yep! And here, in Omaha, they are telling us "this could be really big folks!"
However, they told us that the last time and we ended up with a whole lot of rain and a little bit of sleet and freezing rain, but nothing like the folks in Colorado.

If it hits you guys again...it was nice seeing ya!
Literally...those drifts will be so high and so much snow...
the entire board will have to come and rescue all of you.

We're having an usually warm winter so far and very little snow has fallen. The kids anticipate these storms then they fizzle out before reaching North Dakota with just cold temps and no snow. They wish we still lived in Utah! I guess we'll have to go to my wife's aunt's house in Park City to play in some snow.

Not sure what our high was today, but at least 61. You know - this definitely is not normal for us. Many times, you could get out and play golf at Christmas time, or ski in the mountains. Just heard Nick Carter on Ch 9, and he said plan for the worst, and hope for the best. They hit the last storm exactly right, but this time, it is alot of ifs, ifs, ifs, as to what exactly we will get.

This summer when it's over 100 for 3 or 4 months, you'll be laughing at me.

I have been there a few times on vacation, and it was ok, but I guess I am just a Colorado person - I love it here, and would not live any where else.

You must live closer to dessert vs San Diego, eh?
San Diego....that's like perfect weather all year round to me.

just to fall off the face of the map from a giant earthquake.
Hmmmm....I wonder if that will happen in our lifetime?

I'm working on my wife, as soon as I can talk her into it, we're outa here. This is not where I want to be, especially in the summer.

The whole of the southwestern US is a desert, I live in the place they call the desert. This is the Coachella Valley, basically northeast of San Diego, it's great here in the winter but, the summers are brutal. You can laugh at me then.
I sure hope I'm able to talk my wife into leaving before "the big one" comes.

Strange, it's been really warm here in VA. as well. Today it was like 50 or 60 something in December and I know a few days ago it got as high as 70 or at least it felt like it. This has been a warm winter everywhere in the US. warm winters means hot summers.....DANG GLOBAL WARMING *pumping fist in the air*.
