The temperatures in the northern Canadian arctic have remained within .5 degrees Celcius of it's average over the past x-amount (I think 50ish) of years, so I doubt the "global warming" activists will have much proof to support their Chicken Little "the sky is falling" claims. Nature has its own quirks that humans will never understand, but when in doubt, the left can call it "global warming" and all of the sheeple will listen.

pushed by 'scientists' in my time thus far. Some examples....in the 1970's....
they told everyone DON'T EAT EGGS-They will Kill you! Then it was only eat up
to 3 eggs per week. I've seen coffee go from poison to health food, same for
chocolate. I've heard them talk about even knowing all the species that existed
in the world, and here just in the past 18 months, we have discovered over 5,000
new species. It's a learning process, science, not fact, but "theories".
For another GREAT example....Just this past week on the radio, it has been
discovered that the hole in the Ozone Layer is actually thought to be good for
our environment now....as it allows for dangerous gases to be released.

I do not believe in Global Warming theory.
Neither does Micheal Crichton the famous author/scientist. I defer to him.
There are many folks/scientists who dispute the theory.
Temperature record keeping has only been done for two centuries. Ice samples show wild fluctuating swings such as we are experienceig now.
The people who try to cram it down our throats are the same ones who want government funding to do MORE RESEARCH funded by TAX dollars. It is such a crock.
30 years ago the cover of TIME magazine warned of global cooling... citing some of the SAME scientists who now warn of global warming.
It is such a bogus deal. A preconceived agenda... not a scientific process.
The Al Gore movie has been specificly and scientificly rejected as pure propaganda. It was manipulation of the staistics. When asked about his errors Gore stated that there would be a study out later to prove him right. That says it all... he states in advance of a "scientific" study what the outcome will be.
All I have said here is nothing but fact. Not controversial.
No opinion. Other than that I do not believe in the theory of global warming.

On the history or discovery channel, it said that "Global Warming" will create a new Ice age. No joke. They said that because the cold water is going south, it will dilute the Atlantic Current by the East coast. That current carries heat up the coast but if it gets diluted, no more heat up north which would cause freezing.

Its just the pattern of history.
When "global warming" started, didnt scientists say it was because of cow flatulentce.
The warming is within the range of natural variation.
The warming is a consequence of coming out of a prior cool period, namely the Little Ice Age.
The warming is primarily a result of variances in solar irradiance, possibly via modulation of cloud cover [26]. It is similar in concept to the operating principles of the Wilson cloud chamber, but on a global scale where earth's atmosphere acts as the cloud chamber and the cosmic rays catalyze the production of cloud condensation nuclei.
