ok well today was the last day to get your reading pages in at our school

    and i have 278 pages

but if we do not read a "AR"(some program at our school) she takes away 200

so i checked out the rifle a small book that will take maybe to class period to read

i got it 3rd period and read it all day and went in and was going to take the test

so i go up and try to do the right thing and get it "approved"
which means we cant read books that are movies

and she says she can for next qtr

me: why not for this qtr?

her: becuz you won't be able to read it in 20 mins

    me:I read it all day!

    her:tough luck

Me: walking away: thats f**king stupid!!!!!
i go up to her and say we fine i wont take it

so it most likelyhood i will fail that class and end up taking it next year just becuz of reading pages
    its a requried class

I could fail highschool for it too

    really pisses me off

I still miss the blue background.

                well that ironic

cuz we are reading a story in our text and this was the moral of the story

                "dont wait to long
get it done" sumthing like that

                we also read about irony

I loved AR in my elementary school.

We get rewards for getting AR points and the bigger books = bigger points.

In the 5th grade I read the 4 Harry Potter books and I got like 400 points for them and at the end of a quarter of school you would get to spend it.

I saved up all my points (you need at least 100 a quarter) till the 4th quarter and I had like 600 something and I bought 5 movies with them! And a box of candy.

AR is stupid. I'd always get Harry Potter books and watch the movie. I hate reading but I am good at it. Grade 5 I had a 12 reading level. I am now in 8th.

AR was pretty stupid for me too.

I read 'Shogun' in sixth grade if that says anything.
