When I got home, the news had a story about a plane coming apart and pieces fell into some driveway. The plane landed safely at LAX.

Bizarre News Day
XM Radio was just reporting that this is a very bizarre news day.
1) Colorado getting another blizzard (not really that bizarre)
2) They blew up some package in Miami thinking it was an explosive. Not sure if they meant the airport or what.
3) New York has some chemical spill going on.
and
4) Birds are dropping dead out of the sky in Texas. They said the streets of Austin are closed because they do not know what is going on. Chemicals in the air? The movie the Core is coming true?
We had our own little story on Friday night. Somebody shot a cop here in town which is very bizarre for our little town. They said it had been over 30 years since something like that happened. Anyway, the guy fled the scene after he stole a relatives car. His car was stuck in the snow and when the cop stopped to help, the guy shot the cop and split. He abandoned the stolen car by our house and fled on foot. We wondered what the cops were doing out there. They caught him in the wee hours and he claimed the music told him to kill somebody.
The cop is doing fine. He had on a bullet proof vest. Thank God for that. He was shot with a shotgun that embedded BB's in his body. Over 25 of them. I didn't know shotguns could shoot BB's. 
I wonder what else is going on?
