Would you prefer two threads, which would be sticked, one for birthday wishes, and also one thread to congratulate posters on bars received? Or would you prefer a new thread for individual poster's birthday wishes, and a new thread to congratulate individual posters on bars received?

I am sure I have missed either wishing someone Happy Birthday, or congratulating a poster on bars received, as they get buried, as new threads are added.

Let me know your thoughts on this - Thanks

    New threads, definitely.

I think in order to properly congratulate each user, you need a separate thread.

In theory, one thread may be easier. But eventually, not everyone checks, and users feats may go unnoticed.

    I don't mind individual threads.

It keeps the ABF forum very active, and it makes each individual poster feel good.

I think seperate threads would be better, would it be possible to put a sub-section in ABF forum headed something along the line of 'special notices' in which such threads can be posted

Keep it the way it is because it is nice having your very own thread.

It feels good to know someone cares about you.

Maybe there could be a seperate area for threads of that sort?
          ...capture it...remember it...

              I've seen other forums with:

Happy Birthday And Congratulations Forums....something of that sort....I don't know how much space we have left on this forum...we already have a TON of separate forums....but it's a good idea!

That is a good idea - then at least that would be all that would be there. I like that idea. Maybe I will see what a moderator thinks about that.

I prefer separate, but bottom line....makes no difference in the end.

I may miss some if they are all grouped together.

I'm awfully young, so I'd like things easy to see and read.

Keep things the way they are. There is enough room on this board for all threads. If someone wants to congratulate another for a Bar or wish them happy birthday then so be it.

Its not like new and interesting threads pop up every minute and all these kinds of threads will be taking up room.

If they were all in one thread, no one would notice them.

                      just my :2cents:

I kind of like it the way it is now, but I'll go along with whatever.

There are two kinds of teams in the AFCW; The losers and the Broncos!!!
