I have to say, being on the other side of the coin, so to speak I am surprised to hear this point of view from a guy, but it is very refreshing.

I used to think when you would be at a bar/concert or something & you had guys checking you out or ever striking up conversation with you & your girlfriends, and if you would purposely drink with your left hand (to make sure your ring is seen) or if you mention your kids or even come right out & say your married…actually means that the guy would back way off or even quit talking to you. But my God has this changed over the years. It seems like now that I am in my 30’s the guys are relentless & will go so far as asking “are you happy” “are you looking for some fun”

Maybe I am naïve, and maybe its because this works on some women, so why not try it on all?

All I can say is I am grateful I am not in the dating scene. I would be terrible at it!

well now that i am married my whole perspective has changed, however things were very different.

i used to find moms/older but not old women attractive, when i was 19 i was with a 38 year old for a while, she was a hottie!! but that was a fling.

umm i did hook up with a married girl once, she was 19 and didnt tell me, so i had no idea- she told her hubby and he said he didnt care cuz he had done it to her- everytime i think about this i feel sick. (about what i did) it still haunts me to this day.

i would never ever, go after a girl with a boyfriend or hubby, and had i known uh uh.

I would never cheat with another man's wife. I respect the fact that she has a union with him. No matter my feelings, I will stay away from her because I would expect any man to do the same with regards to my wife. Even if she is "just a girlfriend", as long as she is committed to a guy, I will stay away. No kissing. Maybe playful flirting, but nothing serious. Besides, I am greedy and selfish and want a soul all to myself, so if she has another man in mind, I'm gone.

So my limit would be commitment to another man. Now if she is committed to another woman, I might... suggest things. Sharing is caring.
