That is so sad.

It makes you wonder why he's running away that often.
My baby is 8 and I couldn't imagine what would be so bad at home to make him go to that extreme.

I hope they get him out of Juvi and get him some help.

My son is 8 too, and the worst thing he's ever done was throw a pinecone at the girl down the street.


And it doesnt sound like he was motivated by greed or criminal intentions, just to get out of where he was

Smart kid, but you have to wonder not only how a 9 year old can be that motivated to get to Texas, but also how in the hell he is able to get onto an airplane.

The kid may need one, among other things like guidance. The parents definitely need something, I'm not sure what.
