It's horrible to know your child was in that car as well.
It's very upsetting that this woman ran the red light and didn't own it
and apologize immediately, but seems to be the thing today 'not to take
responsibility' for one's own actions. I'm truly sorry to hear this.

I'm glad they got out with minor injuries. He's right in that it could have been so much worse.
My parents were just in a car wreck a couple nights ago on a highway. It was similar with them because they were hit from behind and spun around into oncoming traffic. Somehow there were no cars immediately around them and so there were no further impacts. My mom got a nice ambulance ride to the hospital because of a neck injury she suffered but turned out to just be sore for a few days. And my dad just came away with a bruise on his head.
At first they were all upset because such a bad thing happened but I finally got them to realize just how lucky they were to come away with only some pretty minor injuries and a messed up car. The car can be replaced but not their lives.
I'm glad to hear that JR's family seems to also have been fortunate despite the misfortune. Best wishes to them!"You can't take the sky from me..."
