I have been retired for a number of years, but my career was in management. I am far from being an expert writer, but when I am organized and stick to the rules of grammar/punctuation, I can get by. Through University, and even simple writing courses, you can acquire a process that works most of the time. And when you get exposed to Business Plans, Business Cases, and everyday memos to folks at all levels of the company, you gradually become pretty proficient. But I am failing as a book writer so far. Not motivated enough I suppose. My brother has written a few. They weren't bad.

But alas, I like to wing it too much, and that's when I can lose my focus.

Steve Martin was one my fav funny guys. He was hilarious. Probably still is, but more subdued of course. Those were the days when a lot of us younger folks would watch SNL pretty religiously. I love when he hosts shows like The Academy Awards. The Jerk was fantastic!!

Back then I was a huge fan of his as well as Richard Pryor.

But I didn't feel good until I puked up my breakfast burrito....too many ghost peppers and completely out of Tums.

I always wonder, if the guy on the far left had to take a pee, would he take a dangerous trek by his peers, or maybe just maybe he rained down on the city far below???

What about if he had to go #2. Being hit on the head by a piece of doo-doo going 80 mph might be deadly.

The obituary would be sad and funny at the same time.

I thought I'd keep this at a "G" rating but some of us act like adults from time to time.

I knew I needed to keep it fairly clean with my choice of words. So far the Mods are OK with it.

Pay back time Mr. Can. Not a spelling error but WRONG WORD!

I believe the 2nd word in your post should have been "thought"....not "though." Now we're even brother.

I hate when I look at an old post of mine and see an obvious error!!! I rush too much!!

BTW....there's a discounted rate if you do it on the run.
