Ok, Turner may get fined $500K by the city to cover the costs of emergency personal.
But you have to ask your self, how mad can they really be? Here they are making headlines on every single news station, even CNN, Fox, and all the locals though out the country.
I’m sure that is far more than $500,000 in advertising! And they are getting all that free!
So in the end they got what they wanted, and then some.

Call me paranoid (and perhaps I am), but the first thing I thought of immediately after learning it was a 'hoax'....test run to see how the response would be from law enforcement and what it would take for them to find it. Crazy?Leave a comment:

BOSTON - At least nine electronic devices, planted at bridges and other parts of Boston as part of a marketing campaign for a late-night cartoon, threw a scare into the city Wednesday.
Highways, bridges and a section of the Charles River were shut down and bomb squads were sent in before authorities declared the devices were harmless.
"It's a hoax — and it's not funny," said Gov. Deval Patrick.
Turner Broadcasting, parent company of Cartoon Network, said the devices, which consisted of magnetic, blinking lights, were part of a promotion for the TV show "Aqua Teen Hunger Force."
