  • To display or not to display?

Make fun if you wish, just be prepared for me to hunt you down and tear your arms off.

I am a Star Wars collector. I have a good collection considering my age. I want to display my figures in my room but there is one tiny problem. What do I do when people come over? I am kind of embarassed to show them. Do I just keep them locked away or do I display them.

    Please help.

I voted to display them. I think you should be who you are. If people make fun of you they may not be your friends. I don't think you should be embarrassed because of who you are. That's easy for me to say, sometimes not so easy for me to do.

      EDIT:

It's OK most of the time to tease a person, but not to the point that it hurts them.

There are two kinds of teams in the AFCW; The losers and the Broncos!!!

How do you expect me to have a RED WHITE and BLUE sig when the background is obnoxious white?

        Thats it.

I am hopping on my buddy Han Solo's ship called the Millennium Falcon and tearing your Sith arms off right now.

          Thanks.

Just don't want people thinking " Ohhh there goes a 14 year old who has toys".

I used to have boyfriend who loved to collect and Display that stuff too. I didn't really like it but he did so that was cool with me.If that is what you are into then put it out. If you were that embarrased you wouldn't collect it in the first place

                  Cool.

I hate it when the Toys R Us people always glare at you when you buy them. Now I go to a specialist shop to get them were I don't get funny looks. There also quite helpful.

For the record... I used to have all 24 Pepsi brand Star Wars cans (minus that darn Gold Yoda) on my bookshelves.

Then again... I hardly had women breaking down my door, either....

                    Hmmmm....

Are the figures from the late '70s and early'80s worth anything nowdays?

                          Uh...

Skywalker would've been about 7 at the time, dude.

                          Wrong.

Anyway... who are you really worried about? Anyone you feel comfortable enough hanging in your room with you should be cool with what you do and like. Seriously.

The ones from the 70's are worth

Depends which ones from the 80's.

Sometimes. I remember he had this cardboard cutout of a storm troopper..yeah that was a little weird during..well let's just say it was a little weird.

Star Wars are actually pretty cool. Some of those things can be worth a ton of money. As long as your not collecting unicorns or Pokemon cards I won't think your strange
