  • Old Nintendo Games

I saw the thread about Tecmo Bowl and thought it would be fun to see what games everyone liked the most from the different systems.

    Nintendo: Legend of Zelda

    Super Nintendo: Super Punch Out

    Nintendo 64: Super Mario Kart

I've only owned an old Nintendo and a PS2.

Nintendo: Super Tecmo Bowl, R.B.I. Baseball, Mike Tyson's Punchout, Spy Hunter, Mario Bros. (all), Contra, Double Dragon.

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few, but those are some of my favorites.

NES: Jackal, Guardian Legend, Tecmo Super Bowl, Legend of Kage, Ninja Gaiden, I could go on and on with this.

Super NES: Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid

It was all about five different video game franchises on the old NES system for me:

          Castlevania
          Mega Man
          Legend of Zelda
          Ninja Gaiden
          Super Mario

If you're going games based on single outings, try these: Rygar, Adventure Island, Battle of Olympus, Metroid, Marble Madness, Contra, Life Force, Ghosts and Goblins, Wizards and Warriors...actually, I could go on forever.

I remember playing bayou billy and go-go 13, those were fun. i've had nes, and the sega master system, with alex kidd, phantasy star, and rocky. I can't remember whatelse i'vd had on that system. I had more games for the nes though. rc pro-am was another fun one, friday the 13th, maniac mansion, both contra games to name a few. Anyone remember turbo-graphix 16?

Wow....now some of the games are coming back to memory.

I remember rushing home as fast as I could after buying Ghosts and Goblins. Man that was a fun one! Ha!

Another one I couldn't wait to play was Goonies. That one was tough.

Metroid was a great game too.
