  • What a day off looks like...

I get a (rare) day off (pending my employees all make it in to work) today!

This is what a day off should look like.

I can't go take care of anything even if I want to...

All I can do is stay at home and do nothing in particular.

Even if I DO get called in... they're gonna have to come pick me up. My car doesn't have enough clearance to make it through that stuff....

    Thanks, Reid!

Its been in the 70's and 80's here all week - supposed to get big tstorms later - and its time to clean all the spideys out of the fraidy holes (if you are lucky enough to have one) cause its tornader time

I would have to die right now if there was that much snow here - just die - although i havent got to enjoy the weather really - its been all work or sick

PS - LT put your phone on silent - that way they cant call you in

It was gorgeous up until about 24 hours ago.... 2 days ago it was in the mid 70's...

As for avoiding the call... It just doesn't work that way and it wouldn't be fair to my employees or my boss. *shrug*
            Thanks, Reid!

              In the meantime,

I'm enjoying B-E-A-utiful weather out here in sunny Cincinnati, where the temperature is a comfy 70 degrees. I'm wearing jeans and a t-shirt today. No coat.

              HEAR ME ROAR!

I know - im in the same dilemma for my concert - everyones telling me to call in but knowing we are short staffed and its out busiest night - I doubt I will have the heart (or nads) to do it

                It sucks being responsible

Like I said... i don't mind a good snow when i don't have to be anywhere...

It's the next few days that will suck... having to bum rides into work... this is going to take some time to melt off.

We had that the last few days. Windy, but still convertible weather.

Glad I got it washed yesterday though.

Today's kinda weird here. It's snowing, yeah, but when I went out to get the paper, instead of snow on the driveway, there is this big patch of ICE. Just ice, no snow. About half an inch thick. Maybe 20 feet across, and it goes down the driveway about 30 feet. Almost half of it!

And here I went and tossed my ice skates years ago!

Yep, you gotta love that Colorado weather. Beautiful one day, and a winter wonderland the next. I know after that long flurry of big storms, I think for the first time in a long time I am all snowed out in Colorado. I jsut want sun now....

Hopefully it will do the normal Colorado flip flop, and tomorrow or the next we will be swimming in water and drowned in sunshine....

Supposed to be in the high 60's this weekend.

Off the snowblower, back into the convertible.
