Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

I guess maybe that I have had one of those weeks, but why is it if someone starts a thread about HATE...it goes more pages than a thread about LOVE???
Seems we have enough problems in this world and given the light of all that happened this past week, I would think everyone would have a little more love to share!!!
I know that there are still people out there that do good things for people...there must be...right!??!
Someone asked me the other day if I thought it would come to a point where everyone would be affraid to leave their house...
I said...do you remember after 9/11, and everyone was affraid, but everyone was nicer, everyone showed more love and compassion toward one another, lent a helping hand, for the most part...as a nation and even most of the world put a little love in their hearts!!!
How long did that last??? Why does it take a 9/11, a hurricane Katrina, a horrible shooting at VT, to make everyone see ...
Can't we all put that love in our heart here and now...not just after something horrible happens...
Guess that is just me being silly and stupid again...but I really would like peace and love in a world where I don't have to worry about the ones I love!!!
In case anyone was wondering how, or why Shanniefly is always in such a good mood.
There are already a lot of studies that prove that helping other people helps keep us in a happy mood. It releases endorphins in the brain and that's why one always feels so good after doing something unselfish, something for someone else with nothing asked in return.
