  • One million dollar coin!

Got change for a million? Canada does: the world’s biggest pure gold coin at 220 pounds.

Already, three buyers have shelled out for one of the 1 million Canadian dollar coins introduced last week.

The Royal Canadian mint made the coins — 20 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick — mostly to seize the bragging rights from Austria, which had the record with a 70-pound, 15-inch wide coin.

    Wow...

I doubt its pure gold though, as pure gold is very malleable...

It would be funny if the buyers get jipped on it, like on the inside it was full of zinc or zirconium or something cheap / same density as gold.

The 737 stuck in traffic in Mumbai India on that same page is cool.

If your a thief, it wouldn't be a bad deal to steal one. If you can't find a buyer for it, just melt it down into gold bars and make an easy 100,000 - 600,000 instead .
