Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Very purty indeed.
and no shoveling.
I bought 50 gladiola bulbs today, now where am I gonna put them.
Those Gladiolas are beautiful flowers. And they get tall too. The wind took out a bunch of ours last year so put them in a spot that isn't too windy. Otherwise staking them is OK when they do get tall.
These also require digging up the bulbs each winter. I didn't do that and ours did not come back. I am putting Iris there now. Those are cool too.
I also put a whole bunch of Columbine seeds along our front porch. Can't wait for those to grow.

I have had a couple Columbines for years now, love them.
Also have some Day Lilies that get better every year, I think most of the Glads will be going in an old flowerbed where I used to have a bunch, some even used to survive the winter, but you are right the wind will take them down.
And I do some perennials here and there.
I always plant Morning Glories but the season seems too short here in the northeast, tend to be very late bloomers. albeit some years I have had success.
Finally, I can have my garden and no dirt under my nails.
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
