Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

"A high school was locked down Thursday after a cafeteria worker saw two men in camouflage and ski masks enter the building more than an hour before classes, a district spokesman said. " http://www.abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=3160025
Police Chief Mark Beckner said a cook spotted the men at about 6 a.m., and they ran when she yelled at them.
There was no indication the two men were armed and it wasn't clear whether they had left the building, Beckner said.
The cook called police, who surrounded the building and began a search.
School district spokesman Briggs Gamblin told KOA-AM radio and KDVR-TV in Denver that classes were canceled for the day. Earlier, school officials had issued conflicting reports about whether the school would open.
Beckner said the initial search, which had not been completed, turned up nothing.
"We don't know if this is a prank, we don't know if this is a burglary, we don't know if it's something more than that," he said.
"You really can't take any chances these days," he said.
Messages left with the principal and school district officials were not immediately returned.
If I remember correctly, Boulder high school had to do this just a few weeks ago.....now again. I really don't know that I would send my child to school after 2 incidents within weeks of each other.
Bunch of morons....go to school, get your education and quit whining about mistreatment. Grab a gun because Joe Blow called you a name...PATHETIC!
I don't know, there is something wrong in our society. I seem to remember people calling each other names, I remember we had bullies, but never once did I hear of anyone even contemplating shooting anyone. WTH is wrong with kids these days. I understand the media and violence gives them ideas, but what happened to parents raising kids knowing right from wrong. These kids have this feeling that they deserve revenge because some little moron called them an idiot.
Bout enough to make you want to quit your job, keep your children home and teach them just to make sure that they live long enough to get out of the hell called high school.
