Meshuggah is some good stuff. 8 strings, nuts. Steph from the Deftones is high on them.

On soloing, I've really never been into it that much. I guess with the blues/softer rock stuff I've been playing, I'll have to get to accustomed to it. I maybe did one or two solos when recording (maybe 20 seconds tops) and a few live if we even covered a song. I always hated them. Just let me rip it up.

    How's it going man?

i like it but the tapping in the background really gets obnoxius

and i feel like its the same thing every 5 seconds if u added words that wouldnt be a problem but just on guitar its kinda boring

i do like it tho its not bad

RIP Darrent It's been one year, Gone but never Forgotten.

I used to be pretty big into neo-classical, so that
        really helped my soloing.

My next song (that I'm currently working on) will
have a solo. It might just be a melodic one, not
        really a rip-it-up- solo.
        Go Huskers.

No you don't, Ron Artest/Allen Iverson pwn you talent-wise.

They have more money in their hands right now
than you'll ever have in your bank account.

That's not hatin', that's just being

Nick, I may have changed my mind. I might be leaning more towards an acoustic or an acoustic electric after last night. It's not the whole girl thing, but how good a quality acoustic sounds, it's just too hot!

I'm sure you're trying to make constructive criticism, but I
find it hard to believe that someone who listens to CC
                thinks other music is repetitive.
I never said it sucks. I just thought it needed a solo.

And what I meant by repetitive was that it was basically the same couple of riffs over and over.

And the only thing repetitive about CC is the drums. but that's for another topic.

Having money and having talent are two different things..music is supposed to be about making music..not making money...

Yeah, I love the way acoustic sounds.

I'd listen to the demo but my computer won't allow it.

                        Who obviously has more talent?

Not to mention, I know I have more musical
                        talent than AI and Artest.

Yea, I'll probably look into getting a nice
acoustic when I'm older, and have more of
                          an appreciation for it.

I have a Sigma, but it was pretty cheap, and
I almost prefer my emulator more than it.

                              Musical talent, yeah most likely.

Physical talent? Nah, not hatin' either, just sayin'.

Besides, I just said that intial post just to play around, I didn't mean anything by it, no need to get defensive

                                Oh, I'm really sorry, then...

I guess I forgot that by saying ''metal is gay''
                                you must've been joking.

Especially since we've never had an arguement about
                                this.
