Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Ok, Ladies, I'm dying to know what you think about this...
its sad that support for a team is based on the color of jersey a woman buys.
Odd, I thought that the team needed support not the correct colors on a jersey.
Well..I think that if they make womens jerseys in pink they should make mens in pink too. Its sexist to assume that only women want to wear them...or that we even want to wear them at all.

its only sexist if you want it to be.
Do you feel the same about pink for new born baby girls?

My problem in this instance isn't with the color pink in general (though I do pretty much despise it), or pink clothing. It's with the assumption that they have to make sports stuff 'pretty' or 'pink' or 'glittery' (which is another way I've seen those jerseys described) in order for women to buy/wear them and/or support a team.
I wouldn't buy a green Broncos jersey, it's not their color.
I wouldn't buy a yellow Broncos Jersey, it's not their color.
I wouldn't buy a brown Broncos jersey, it's not their color.
And I certainly wouldn't buy a pink one.
I don't 'think less' of a woman who does, just because of what she chooses to wear... that's totally her prerogative. I was just looking for opinions.
Guys can respond too, of course, I always value your opinions...
So I have been thinking about the new jerseys/hats/shirts they're coming out with for sports (mainly football, cuz it's the best sport ever, but I have seen some baseball stuff too) stuff that they're making PINK for crying out loud...
I get that they're trying to market the stuff toward women, but I find it kind of degrading... like we won't be sports fans if they won't make the stuff pink? They have to make it more 'girlie' for us?
I say wear your team colors proud, girls!
What do you think? Am I overreacting? Maybe you like the pink stuff? I could be totally wrong here, I just say if I am a fan, it's the Blue and Orange for me...
I agree with you red...pink is the dumbest color ever. I want blue and orange, damnit!
I'm sorry...but the fact that I have a Pink Lynch Jersey...does not make me any less of a fan..or any less knowledgeable when it comes to football! I also have a pink Broncos hat to match...
I think this is all pretty silly~
on the other hand..like i've said before I also own all of the orange and blue jerserys and stuf...so it depends what mood im in...on which one I would wear.
