  • My Dad bought a couple of four wheelers...

I never ridden one before. He's got this huge trail behind his house that goes up and down the river that's specially designed for these things. It has alot of obstacles hills, valley's and mud pits. I did pretty good for my first time. I suppose that's because I grew up in the video game generation and I could work the controlls easily. I'll tell you one thing, my shoulders and legs are very sore! You'll use muscles you never knew you had. Those things have alot of power and you spend alot of time just trying to balance and stay on the damn thing. One of them is an Artic Cat 650 and the other is a Honda with a 500 in it. The Honda is fast enough for me. Everything seems alot faster when your on those things. I was going 40 mph but it seemed like I was going 80.

I suppose because of these new toys, I'll have to go visit my dad more often. He said that the Honda is basically mine but the Artic Cat is definately his.

I love four-wheeling, especially here in Alaska, its great. I got a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O. and my dad has the same as me, we go riding every weekend...Last weekend was crazy there was this mud pit and man, when we get the film developed I will share them with you guys. Anyone who has never done it before you should do it, its so much fun...Oh we also got an 85 Honda 250 3 wheeler, that thing is so much fun to ride, and it will go so many places. Its really dangerous though if you dont know how to ride it....

Dude, I just did the "superman-road rash", two days ago. It was hilarious. I came off of a double and landed in a long stretch of gravel and it felt like my bike was gonna flip, so I pushed it upright and bailed off of it, superman style, into the gravel. After I impacted the ground, I looked up and I saw my bike heading straight for me! So I'm scratching and clawing in the dirt trying to get up and finally I do and stop the bike. It was hilarious.

Wow, that's pretty crazy. Are you sure "hilarious" is the right word here? I was thinking more along the lines of "frightening".
