I say do it to my face, let me know how I screwed up (or if she's the one who's screwed up), and get it over with. That's far more respectable than dropping hints or doing it over the phone. It's gonna suck not matter what, just give the dumpee a little dignity on the way out (if that's possible).

Well...I didn't get dumped or dump my girlfriend in middleschool...but my girlfriend walked into a classroom I was in and seen a girl sitting on my lap. She turned around and walked back out. We stopped taking together, and never offically said 'it's over'...hey, since we didn't 'offically' break-up, are we still going out?
