Kudos to Flatlander Fan!

I just want to recognize Flatlander Fan for something that, to me, is one of the great things about being a member of these boards. I know it's not the first time it's happened, because I have done it a couple times myself, but this is the first time anyone has done this to me.

FF gave me a CP - which just happened to bump me up to 4 bars (thanks again!) - for a post where I disagreed with him! How awesome is that? I have always tried to keep things respectful when I disagree with someone, and many people here do the same, but to have someone respectfully disagree and then CP me for stating my opinion even though it's the opposite of theirs...

That is what these boards are about.

I was beginning to think he was a myth, but there have been a few FF sightings recently!

FF is a great guy. We have many like him and it does make this place a great place to be. Many to FF!

Wish he was around regularly, because he has such a good influence on this place.....

As for his actions, I see it as the way this board should be, where you minimize biases and so on, and try to create discussion, info, and new insights, which will all serve to improve our beloved site. FF is well aware of the positive implications of being open minded and objective (and having some fun!!)......which is sometimes tough given our deep down likes and dislikes. Some of us have to work at it a little more than others......but it's well worth the results that come from intelligent communication.

BTW.......nice post!! You made this known to others, and that's also a positive action. Good for you bud!!

One of the things I really enjoy about being a member of these boards is the ability to have exchanges like the one we had. I state my position, you state yours, in the end we still disagree - except for the fact that we are both Broncos fans!
